We are looking for an IT Business Analyst for our client’s newest hybrid project opportunity in Gdansk, Poland. The opportunity is contract-based for a 12 months period (extension is possible).
Tasks
- Fulfils Business Analyst role and responsibilities during an application migration project
- Cooperates closely with Project Manager, Business side peers, Super Users, Process Architects, Developers, Application Architects, Senior Domain Experts, Application & Infrastructure Operation Experts, Business Analysts and System Analysts
- Manages handover to business and IT Operation support
- Coordinates IT development process, project, and change requests related to project
- Builds contemporary knowledge of solutions, industry benchmarks and trends in their area, proactively collects and communicates best practices to development teams and peers
- Defines and documents Business Processes in cooperation with the business stakeholders and System Analysts
- Coordinate and cooperate with Retail System Analyst, IT experts, and business to deliver business specification, and documentation of migrated application harmonizing with business process description created, within deadline, in the best quality
- Create system documentations and business process descriptions using: UML and BPMN 2.0 standards
- Responsible to draw attention to found risk, issue and any other problems
- Works with Migration Project Team and performs the tasks assigned as per agreed deadlines, quality and scope
- Works closely with PM, Application Architect, Senior Domain Experts, Client Manager and with System Analysts (Developers) in her domain and with the Business Analysts of other domains to design high quality solutions and interfaces
- Works closely with Super Users to maintain and to improve their system specific knowledge, and provides support during UAT planning and execution
Requirements
- Min. 4 years proven experience as an IT Business Analyst
- Good analytical skills, incl. business analyst tools
- Systemic thinking
- English and Polish language knowledge
- Structured way of communication - both written and oral
- Proven coordinating skills
- Good problem solving skills, solution oriented approach
- Capability of providing rational and credible findings, realistic solution options
- Excellent listening to and understanding skills of business requirements
