We are looking for a Transition Readiness Lead for our multinational client’s team for indefinite period as a FTE. The position is 100% remote.
Responsibilities
Working with a project manager the Transition Readiness (TR) Lead works within a project team ensuring the smooth delivery of the project. TR Leads have a key role interfacing between the project and supporting teams. TR Leads report to the appropriate Project Manager for operational delivery related matters and will be line managed by the relevant Transition Readiness team manager.
- Ensure Projects deliver against the minimum requirements set out by the Transition Readiness process with the objective to ensure projects pass smoothly through the Technical Gates and maintain stability when promoted to the live operational environments.
- ·Work with the Project Managers, Business Owners, Service Owners, Managed Service Partners, Operations teams, and 3rd parties to ensure that projects meet their requirements.
- Ensure end-to-end Technical Gate criteria is agreed and evidenced throughout project lifecycle e.g. ensure testing, training requirements and any other non-functional requirements are defined and delivered against the agreed Service Acceptance Criteria and other controls
- Define the end-to-end support model with all key stakeholders across multiple delivery organisations.
- Ensure any risks to live operational services resulting from project deliveries are captured and mitigated where possible
Requirements
- Degree level or qualified by experience
- Stakeholder management experience, on a local and global level
- Ability to influence others to gain their support for change
- Proven understanding of change management processes in a fully change managed environment (ITIL)
- Ability to manage a team of people of varying abilities and skills
- Ability to efficiently delegate tasks to appropriate team members
- Sound understanding of risk identification and mitigation principles
- Able to work independently without strong guidance or existing processe
Nice to have
- Hold the ITIL 4 Foundation Certificate
- An understanding of both Waterfall and Agile project delivery
- Professional presentation with strong people skills with all levels across the Firm
- A logical and critical thinker with problem solving skill
- Ability to influence others to gain their support for chang
