We are looking for a Deputy PMO Manager with 5+ years experience in IT project management field for our client in the Information Technology sector.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who can manage one-one project part-time, and the rest of the time he will help me manage the PMO (deputize if necessary), carry out portfolio management sub-tasks, and ensure the quality of running projects from a project operation point of view.
A basic requirement is experience gained in a managerial role, as well as skill-level management of IT system development and integration projects.
Tasks
• Assisting the work of the PMO manager, act as a replacement for her
• Management, coordination and support of the project managers working in the PMO
• Quality assurance of the running projects from the point of view of project operation
• Preparation and planning of projects
• Independent management of projects, control of frameworks and tracking deadlines
• Successful implementation of projects based on the defined goals and stakeholders expectations
• Expert cooperation in strategic (IT and in technical) projects
• Carrying out project communication tasks, provision of a mutually between different participants effective collaboration and information flow
• Full performance, delegation and control of administrative tasks
• Compilation of project management professional materials, review of specialized professional materials
• Operation of change and risk management system
• Preparation of decision-making proposals, definition of solution proposals
• Active participation in the improvement and development of processes related to projects
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the field of project management as an IT PM
- Professional Hungarian AND English knowledge both in oral and written form
- Leadership, organizational and analytical skills
- Independence and ability to work in a team
- Management experience / PMO management experience
- Proactivity
- Flexible, cheerful, people-oriented personality, good team player
- Excellent diplomatic skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Precision, load capacity, accurate work
- Excellent presentation and documentation skills
- Practical knowledge of project management methodologies
- Practical experience, routine in the application of MS Project
