As a Delivery Manager you will manage projects within a team aligned to a Service Line, where you will build strong relationships with your business stakeholders, understanding their strategic direction, processes and requirements to become their trusted advisor on all elements of delivery. You will have both experience working in an agile environment with multiple stakeholders at varying levels of seniority and equally be able to adopt and adapt to traditional project management approaches as required, to support the business’ objectives. You will be accountable for delivering your projects and their alignment with the agreed benefits through a value driven approach.

Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned projects (both software/products and/or infrastructure projects) and the production of relevant project deliverables and artefacts.
- Identify project risks and issues, escalating where appropriate, in a timely manner.
- Manage the expectations and satisfaction of the stakeholders.
- Implement effective change control by ensuring project change impacts are assessed and communicated so all parties are aligned.
- Ensure project resources and budgets are tracked and kept up to date.
- Develop and distribute timely status reporting with key metrics to appropriate stakeholders.
- Follow and align with the organization’s processes, governance framework and best practice.
- Own and engage in all stages of the agile development process – planning, stand-up, show-and-tell and retrospective ceremonies.
- Work closely with the product owners to ensure the backlog is sufficiently prioritized for the next iteration.
- Manage, coach and motivate the project team.
- Communicate with openness, honesty and respect in all situations and be adept at conflict resolution and direction setting.
Requirements
- Min. 2 years proven experience as a Delivery Manager
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written that inspire confidence in business stakeholders and the team
- Good commercial awareness and experience of managing budgets and resource utilisation
- Very well organized and able to respond to changing priorities
- Analytical and flexible with the ability to rapidly understand ambiguous and complex concepts
- Ability to take and understand the commitment to deliver the project on time by Agile tools, the value of metrics and incremental delivery
- Will have to work extensively with geographically distributed teams on and offshore
- Experience in agile delivery methodologies (e.g. Kanban, Scrum) and in transitioning teams to agile ways of working
