We are looking for a Project Management Officer for our multinational client’s team for FTE position (with indefinite contract).
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Providing financial analysis and reporting to the PMO Finance Manager
- Managing and updating financial data and records
- Analyse data to provide explanations on trends/themes, supporting project managers to identify variances and take countermeasures
- Preparing multi-project reports/dashboards, managing exception reports and following up with individual project managers to resolve
- Facilitating the Portfolio Review Board with senior stakeholders; recording minutes, collating actions and following up to ensure resolution
- Following and aligning with the organisation’s processes, governance framework, best practice and adherence to any necessary compliance
- Communicating with openness, honesty and respect in all situations and being adept at conflict resolution and direction setting
- Facilitating, arranging and supporting meetings
- Pro-actively controlling the flow of information in case of escalation
- New project creation
- Maintaining key datasets and documents within the portfolio e.g. resource lists and org charts
- Contributing to continuous improvement, supporting the team where processes can be improved
- Contribute to the continued development and success of the PMO as a Service team
Requirements
- 4.5 to 7 years in PMO
- P3O qualification – desirable
- Advanced level use of Excel and PowerBI
- Advance level use of MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and SharePoint
- Knowledge of Project delivery lifecycle
- Strong data analysis and financial reporting skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Adept at collating and presenting detailed information in all communication methods
- Experience of effectively translating complex finance guidelines into a clear and assessable language for project managers
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written that inspire confidence in business stakeholders and the team
- Very well structured and organised and able to respond to changing priorities
- Analytical and flexible with the ability to rapidly understand ambiguous and complex concepts
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and proactiveness
