We are looking for an IT Business Analyst with relevant legal background for our multinational client for maternity cover. The assignment is for 2 years, but after this period it can be changed to indefinite contract.
As a Business Analyst you will support Legal in understanding and influencing their business needs, identifying potential solutions and orchestrating their delivery from design over implementation, you will ensure appropriate sustainable deployment of the solutions. You will be accountable to maximize the value creation for Legal by closely collaborating with the various partners & informatics stakeholders as a part of a global IT organization. You will gather a solid understanding of the current and emerging needs and are able to influence your partners. Your ambition is to continuously improve the status quo by respectfully challenging and experimenting with new approaches in order to increase the usability and sustainability of our solutions.
Tasks
- Provide expertise by identifying, evaluating, designing and deploying systems and processes that are lean thus cost effective and align with user requirements and technology roadmaps
- Business requirement analysis, business case development, and the ability to make recommendations to improve the experience on technology products.
- Proven expertise in business process and/or data modeling, by analyzing, defining and documenting detailed process workflows through user interviews, facilitated workshops and expert engagement
- Working with business users of new and/or changed products to modify their processes and/or ways of working to derive the economic benefits
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and stakeholders in Business and IT
- Ensure all applications supporting the business are compliant with internal Roche security, risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements
- Facilitate and validate system and user acceptance testing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
- 3-5 years experience as Business Analyst, Legal domain background is preferred
- Extensive IT Project and Agile Methodologies Experience in mid and large scale projects and products
- Good stakeholder management, excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to quickly produce clearly written, well-organized documentation; excellent presentation and meeting facilitation skills
- Familiar with the concepts, standards, technology, tools, processes, procedures, software and services in use for delivering information services
- Strong influencing, communication and team-working skills at all levels as well as negotiation skills and proven track record in getting mutual decisions and sign-offs
- Technically and economically oriented analytical mindset paired with problem-solving skills, along with experience of applying industry standard business analysis methods
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to plan own work to meet objectives, and to work independently
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn the business in unfamiliar areas and to work with a diverse team
