We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst with a strong background in Data projects to join a 6-month assignment for our client in the energy sector.

The project focuses on the implementation of a Datalake solution designed to support high-volume data storage for various operational data types, such as GPS and container tracking, factory sensor data, and more. The initiative includes:

• Integration and centralization of multiple data sources into a centralized datalake

• Development of dashboards for non-real-time data monitoring and analysis

• Implementation of predictive analytics to enhance operational efficiency

The solution is based on Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Fabric, and Spark, among others.

The scope involves designing and implementing a scalable, secure datalake architecture capable of handling large-scale and diverse data types—such as GPS tracking of vehicles, waste container tracking, logistics weighing data, and IoT-based factory sensor inputs. The architecture must support high-speed data ingestion and optimized storage. Additionally, a robust data integration framework will be developed to automate data collection and centralization from various sources, including IoT devices, logistics systems, and factory monitoring tools.
