We are looking for talented Data Analysts to provide services to our multinational client’s long-term project opportunity.
Summary
The Data Analysts within the project will support the Data Lead with the implementation of the Advanced demand planning system OMP. The role will be responsible for profiling data, data mapping and cleansing to support business requirements with fit for purpose data. The Data Analyst will be required to have a robust understanding of the data structures, systems and process integration, analytics techniques and business reporting needs.
In addition, the Data Analyst is required to understand the design structure of OMP data model, its integration to the company and other data sources.
Responsibilities
- Document data library and data ingestion process
- Analyse specific data sources, frequency, granularity, completeness and quality
- Have understanding of inputs and their impact for OMP algorithms
- Manage DevOps backlog for area of expertise
- Support PowerBI developers and data engineers to drive future handover for BAU processes
- Test delivered solutions and provide inputs for any process improvements
- Support data issue resolution during the project lifecycle
- Support user acceptance testing
Requirements
- 3+ years proven experience as a Data Analyst
- Experience with planning solutions (SAP, BI, OMP)
- First hand planning experience in IBP, S&OP, S&OE and data analytics for these processes
- Baseline understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes; Supply Planning, Distribution Requirements Planning, Inventory Planning, Conversion, Logistics, Procurement and Customer Service
- Strong analytical, organizational and decision making skills
- Good communication skills – verbal, written and presentation
- Proficient in MS applications e.g. Excel, Access, Outlook
- Proficient in data programming languages SQL or Python
- Proficient in analytics and data handling (Azure Data lake/Databricks, SQL server)
- Professional English knowledge
