This is a technical FTE role delivering new IT services into the company,  as part of a team involving wide range of different technologies. From on premise upgrades to complex cloud deployments and SaaS, this role offers the opportunity to build skills across many areas. On occasion, the solutions may involve technology new to the customer requiring a steep learning curve. 

  • Working with the Solution Architect to understand and shape the Solution Design ensuring a smooth transition from the design to Implement phase.
  • Working as part of the technical delivery team including operations, SMEs and third parties to deploy the solutions and transition these to the live environment.
  • Production of high-quality Service Design documentation covering all aspects of the implemented solution.
  • Effective time and task management is an important skill.

Essentials 

  • Hands on experience of a number of Enterprise technology solutions, such as Windows Server OS, Azure, AWS, SQL
  • Proven understanding of change management processes in a fully change managed environment (ITIL)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows architecture, deployment considerations and structured infrastructure methodologies
  • Ability to efficiently delegate tasks to appropriate team members
  • Sound understanding of risk identification and mitigation principles
  • Able to work independently without strong guidance or existing processes

Desirables 

  • Hold the ITIL Foundation Certificate V4
  • Hold the Azure Foundation AZ-900 qualification
  • Experience working in professional services, retail or telecommunications environments
  • Experience of a PRINCE2 Project Delivery environment
  • Experience of an Agile Project Delivery environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional presentation with strong people skills with all levels across the Firm
  • Able to gain credibility with senior staff and the trust of all staff
  • Diplomatic and persuasive with an ability to handle difficult conversations and confidently manage senior stakeholders
  • Hands on approach with ability to multitask several different work streams
  • Experience of working to aggressive and changing deadlines
  • Ability to work in virtual teams, often remote from other team members
  • Ability to work in a flexible environment, where different styles of project delivery can occur
  • Ability to influence others to gain their support for change

  **Must-Have** 

  • Held a technical IT role in their career at an enterprise level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams, with the ability to motivate and drive team members towards project success.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks, while also being a collaborative team player.

**Should-Have** 

  • Experience in managing medium sized implementation projects, with a good understanding of environment and technology requirements.
  • Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies and frameworks, with the ability to apply them effectively.
  • Experience in managing client relationships, with the ability to understand and manage client expectations.
  • Ability to work on simultaneous workstreams, while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Experience in managing change and ensuring successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage difficult conversations effectively.
  • ITILv3/4 Foundation or experience working within ITIL lead delivery.
  • Learning underway for AZ900 Azure Fundamentals Foundation Accreditation (or comparable foundation certificate from one of the other big cloud providers such as AWS or Google) or experience working on cloud technologies.

**Could-Have** 

  • Worked in a project team to deliver IT projects/systems. 
  • Knowledge of specific software applications or technologies relevant to the implementation project.
  • Experience in managing remote teams and working with virtual teams across different time zones.
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and third-party service providers.
  • Experience in managing data migration and integration projects.
  • Experience in managing quality assurance and testing phases of implementation
